After approved sketches I have made a colorscript. Mapping certain colors to certain emotions, so that every page tells a story on emotional level. Also making sure that from beggining to end there is a development in story supported with different color palletes.

Oki’s house

Written by Ana Vizler. Publisher: Alfa d.d. 2021., 43 pages.

For this story I was visually inspired with 3D computer animated movies, such as ones from Pixar’s studio. Pushed a bit more rendering of the characters and the environment so everything pops out and seems more tangible.

The boy who missed the moment

This is a story about a boy that misses all the happy moments in life as he is always nervous and watching at the screen. So I associated certain colors with certain emotions. Greens and blues are dominant when there is a discomfort in main character and warm color hues represents comfort, harmony and happiness. Approached this one with a balanced mix of the flat illustrations and textures with 3D volume and shades.
